Established: Early 1970's
History: The Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve provides educational and recreational opportunities for persons of all ages to develope and practice a sound environmental ethic. A lowland, white cedar forest makes up much of the preserve.

An 8 mile trail system is available for hiking, jogging, bird watching, cross country skiing, photography, and quiet contemplation.

Throughout the year there are many special events such as: maple syrupping, ski clinics, craft workshops, concerts, naturalist programs, etc.
